January 3rd Release
This collection captures the contemplative beauty of observing the world from an inner space, viewing an unseen realm through the frame of a window. “A Day’s Reflection from the Window,” an acrylic painting, breaks the day into modular moments—from morning clouds to a midnight moon—each pane offering a separate, tranquil glance at the outside world. “Whale Song Beyond the Pane,” an acrylic painting, offers a more direct, yet still mediated, view of the sea, where heavy curtains frame a distant whale’s spout. This creates a powerful sense of quiet detachment, as if watching a mysterious, profound event from a place of tranquility. Finally, “The Weather Matrix,” a marker drawing, abstracts the view entirely, using a grid of symbols—rain, waves, and clouds—to represent the external, watery atmosphere, allowing us to see the weather itself as a structured, mysterious pattern.
