    Enduring Growth: This week, we shift to a different perspective on the high school experience, one focused on enduring growth. These acrylic pieces offer a more grounded look at how we bloom and build a foundation for the future. Purple Loose Strifle & Goldenrod showcase blooms and growth as the central theme, literally depicted by the flourishing purple and yellow flowers that represent blossoming friendships and personal growth. The energy is captured in the swirling, organic background lines and the vibrant, lively application of the paint, giving the piece a feeling of life and movement. The heavy, purple, rock-like forms, in Landscape in Purple & Gold, represent the foundational memories and challenges that give shape to our past.     Chaos & Battle: This week’s release features two acrylic paintings, each an abstract representation of the chaos and growth that happens during those four years of high school. Stars & Swirls is a literal landscape of memory, flowing and dream-like. You can almost feel the wild, free-form energy of those high school hallways in the chaotic purple swirls and the firework-like spray of gold dots. While the star-like flowers that emerge from the motion evoke blooms and the growth into adulthood. In Those HS Feelings there is an undeniable energy in the free-form purple spirals on the yellow background that capture the chaotic energy of teenage angst. The repeating pattern of star-like blossoms on the textured purple side, suggests moments of celebration, achievement and growth. While Stars & Swirls captures the grand, dream-like energy of the era, Those HS Feelings zooms in on the quiet, internal battles and triumphs that made it all real.
