The Indigo Current: A deep dive into cool-toned abstraction

    4/25 Release

    Welcome to The Indigo Current

This collection is my latest exploration of organic movement and structured geometry of our everyday surroundings with a focus on purples and blues.

“Lavender Shadows at Noon” reimagines a sun-drenched landscape through a violet-tinted lens. This painting features organic shapes and brushwork that evokes a sense of peace and mystery. The play between the radiant light source and the deep lavender silhouettes creates a dreamlike depth.

In the marker drawing, “Indigo Geometry,” I wanted to find the harmony between linework and botanical motifs. Against a rhythmic, striped background of deep indigo and teal, you’ll find floral elements that seem to dance. It is the sharp contrast of curved petals meeting geometric intersections that gives this piece its unique pulse.

Drawing inspiration from the constant, soothing flow of water, “Aquarium Mosaic”  presents a grid of oceanic textures. For this marker drawing, I chose to alternate between structured slate bars and teal squares filled with bubble and fin motifs. The repetitive, woven-like layout as well as the calm blue color palette produces a soothing quality.

I invite you to immerse yourself in these cool-toned abstractions and find the piece that resonates with your own rhythm. The full collection is now live in my online shop. I can’t wait to hear which one speaks to you.
